We’re excited to share the completion of Bar Please!, a vibrant new neighborhood bar in Downtown Boise. This latest venture comes from the same owner behind Thick as Thieves, the speakeasy located in the same building, which we had the pleasure of working on a few years ago.

Bar Please! features a clean, inviting interior accented with bright colors and stunning stained glass. The owner’s fun, laid-back vibe shines through in every detail. The cocktail program highlights highballs, spritzes, and fresh seasonal creations, complemented by a menu of beer, wine, and delicious snacks.

This project involved transforming a former coffee shop and vegan café. The new owners appreciated the rare opportunity to inherit a space with an existing kitchen hood—an asset that’s tough to find or costly to build in Boise’s historic multi-level buildings. While we had a service elevator for equipment delivery this time (a luxury we didn’t have with Thick as Thieves), only about half the equipment fit inside. That meant hauling the rest up a flight of stairs—a challenge our team handled with determination and skill.
